Support & Safety Guide
This experience is hosted by The Others Club and operated in partnership with Best in Travel, our trusted tour operations partner.
Best in Travel manages the trip logistics and works with carefully selected local guides and suppliers in Thailand to deliver the experience on the ground.
While every detail is carefully planned, travel can sometimes come with the unexpected. This guide outlines the support available during your trip and what to do if any issues arise, so you can feel confident, prepared, and well supported throughout your journey.
In Case of an Emergency
Your safety and wellbeing are always our top priority.
If something serious happens, such as a medical emergency or accident, please follow these steps:
1. Contact your local guide or trip host
Your local guide, appointed by Best in Travel, is your primary on-the-ground contact. They are experienced in managing health, safety, and local coordination and will guide you through the next steps.
2. Seek medical assistance if required
Your guide can help you access the nearest clinic or hospital and assist with communication where needed.
3. Contact emergency services if urgent
If immediate assistance is required, local emergency services should be contacted straight away. Your guide can help make the call or coordinate support.
4. Inform your host or travel companions
Let your The Others Club host or fellow travellers know so additional support can be arranged if needed.
5. Keep important documents accessible
Have your passport, travel insurance details, and any relevant medical information easily available.
6. Stay calm and follow guidance
If an unexpected situation occurs, try to stay calm and follow the instructions of your guide, host, and local authorities. They are experienced and there to support you.
7. Keep emergency contact details on hand
Save the contact numbers provided in your trip information, including your local guide and Best in Travel support. You should also keep your own key contacts accessible, including an emergency contact at home and your travel insurance provider. Please ensure your emergency contact details are up to date before departure.
Important: In urgent situations, always contact your local guide or emergency services first, as they are best placed to provide immediate assistance. The Best in Travel operations team will provide additional support as soon as possible.
If Something Isn’t Quite Right
Not every issue is an emergency, but small problems can still affect your experience. If something isn’t working as expected, please let us know as early as possible so it can be resolved quickly.
Report issues early
Let your local guide or Danni (your TOC host) know as soon as something doesn’t feel right. The earlier the team is aware, the faster it can usually be resolved.Share clear details
Let the team know what the issue is and what you need. Clear information helps us understand the situation and take the right action.Stay flexible
Travel sometimes comes with small changes - weather delays, timing adjustments, or the occasional mix-up. A little patience and flexibility can go a long way.Escalation if needed
If something cannot be resolved locally, the Best in Travel operations team will step in to provide additional support.
After your trip, we also welcome your feedback. Hearing what worked well, and what could be improved, helps us continue to refine future experiences.
Emergency Contacts
Before departure, you’ll receive key contact details, including:
Your local guide’s contact number

We also recommend keeping an emergency contact from home saved on your phone.
