The Others Club · Partnership Idea

First Table Meetups,
powered by The Others Club.

We’d love First Table to become the dining partner for our city meetups across Australia and New Zealand — a simple, flat-fee partnership that puts First Table in front of an engaged, social, dining-out audience, with optional add-ons if you want to go further.

Presented by Danni Duncan The Others Club Markets: Australia & New Zealand

01The opportunity

The Others Club is a paid membership community for childfree adults, with 1,500+ members across 40+ cities globally. Our city groups run regular in-person meetups, and dining out together is already one of the most common ways members connect — First Table is a natural fit for a community that's already doing this every week.

The community
Childfree adults, AU & NZ
Social, time-rich, and already organising in-person dinners as part of how city groups connect. First Table gives every host a reason to book through the platform rather than picking a restaurant cold.
The footprint
28 live city groups, AU & NZ
9 in New Zealand, 19 in Australia — each with City Leaders and member hosts already running regular meetups, giving First Table a recurring, built-in use case rather than a one-off campaign. (TOC also has 12 active city groups across the UK, outside the scope of this proposal but a natural next market if this partnership goes well.)
Why this works for First Table
First Table's model depends on driving bookings to restaurant partners. TOC's city structure already produces group dining occasions every week — this partnership channels that existing behaviour through First Table, rather than asking members to change what they're already doing.

02The base offer

One flat sponsorship fee, paid regardless of booking volume. In return, First Table gets a defined set of deliverables across our platform, newsletter, and TOC's own Instagram — scoped to match the fee we agree on.

What First Table gets

  • An in-app “First Table Meetup” text header on relevant meetups (text label only at present — there’s no logo slot on meetup listings)
  • A capped, First Table-controlled number of TOC-exclusive booking offers, issued to City Leaders & meetup hosts (not all members) to use when booking a First Table meetup — exact volume and discount mechanic is First Table’s call, based on what they're willing to offer
  • Dedicated content on the @theothersclub_ TOC brand account introducing the partnership
  • Newsletter coverage to active AU/NZ members — either a dedicated send or a brief mention in a wider newsletter, depending on the agreement
  • City Leaders actively booking and promoting First Table meetups across 28 live AU/NZ city groups

What we’re asking for

  • A flat sponsorship fee, to be proposed once First Table confirms interest and the size of the offer they want to put forward
  • In exchange, City Leaders & meetup hosts get a genuine new perk that makes hosting easier — at no operational cost to The Others Club
Our deliverables
TOC-account content (IG) introducing the partnership · newsletter coverage, scaled to the fee · “First Table Meetup” text header in-platform (text only at present) · City Leaders briefed to book and host via First Table. Exact scope flexes with the agreed fee — these are the building blocks we'd shape together.

03Optional add-ons

If First Table wants to go further than the base offer, here are three ways to extend the partnership. Each is a separate ask, layered on top of — not bundled into — the flat fee above.

Add-on 01

Co-hosted city dinners

A recurring monthly First Table dinner in a small set of pilot cities (drawn from our 28 AU/NZ city groups), organised by City Leaders as a flagship meetup format rather than a one-off offer. Turns the discount into an active, recurring booking driver across multiple cities.

Add-on 02

Paid content series

Content isn’t guaranteed organically — but if First Table funds it, we can commission content creators to attend and document co-hosted dinners, with that content shared across TOC's socials. Scope (number of pieces, cities covered) depends on the budget put forward.

Add-on 03

Wider market rollout

Extend the offer beyond AU/NZ to our UK membership (283 active members) once the AU/NZ partnership proves out — a natural next phase that gives First Table a reason to extend the relationship rather than it ending after one cycle.

Let’s make this happen

Interested? Let’s talk.

I’d love to set up a call to talk through the details and figure out what works best for First Table.
